Murdoch House, Bearsden

At Coogan Architects we have extensive experience with traditional properties, those that are located within Conservation Areas or indeed listed buildings. In this example at Murdoch House in Bearsden, we designed an extension with a street elevation that replicated the proportions, design features and materials of the existing sandstone property. Towards the rear, we were able to introduce contemporary feature bi- folding doors that still remained sympathetic to the house.
